Can anyone tell me a bit about wacom tablets? What are they exactly? How do they work? What can you use them for? Which ones are good? Costs?

Halloween is over and now it's Thanksgiving and then Christmas! The weather has finally turned cold. XD Right now, my toes are frozen even though the heater is on in my dorm room.
